We believe that the tiny tots have an amazing capacity to absorb almost everything presented to them. Our teams of qualified, sincere and caring teachers aim to groom the little ones with love and care at our pre-primary section.

A well –balanced curriculum and theme-based instruction help the young minds integrate their learning smoothly. The kindergarten programme makes use of a range of individual and group activities which create a lively and positive learning environment.

Games, songs, creative projects, storytelling, role playing, drawing and painting help the children’s to develop their foundational skill in literacy and numeracy. Celebration of festivals sensitizes them to multiple traditions and cultures

Primary School Programme - Classes I to V

The Years of learning the colours of learning…

The Primary School Programme encourages inquiry and exploration, and develops children’s competence in various skills – reading, writing, listening, speaking, problem-solving, observation, measurement and use of information and communications technology.

It offers an exciting and creative learning environment, with an inter-disciplinary appreciation of Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, as individual and integrated subjects. Tamil is taught as a Second Language and Hindi is offered as the Third Language, which helps build a strong foundation in Indian languages.

Equal emphasis is given to individual, small group and whole-group activities, to improve children’s ability to work across all levels. Physical Education develops sports skills and creates health awareness. Exposure to team and individual sports encourage a sense of team spirit, and individual effort and accomplishment.

Middle School Programme - Classes VI to VIII

Sculpting future leaders….

  • The Middle School Programme is structured to meet children's varied intellectual and developmental needs. It ensures progression and continuity across various stages of learning in the School, and incorporates continuous evaluation and review of children's performance.
  • The main aims of the Programme are developing skills related to writing, reading, reflecting, critical thinking, public speaking, fostering initiative among students and a desire to acquire knowledge.
  • Projects are planned to integrate knowledge and skills acquired by students in various subjects , and serve as a concrete step towards developing inter-disciplinary approaches in later years.
  • At RVB, the curriculum is delivered to lead the students in a progressive manner, enabling them to be well-prepared and future –ready. They organize and participate in cultural and sports events, thus developing leadership skills and team spirit.

Inside the classroom:

  • With a maximum of 30 students in a class, every child receives the personal attention that he/she deserves and needs.
  • A broad range of subject areas are taught to provide children with sufficient flexibility when choosing their area of specialization.
  • Innovative problem-solving techniques, questioning, and active participation in discussions are strongly encouraged to build curiosity and confidence.
  • Unique teaching methods are used to make learning a fun, interactive and engaging process.
  • Teachers are approachable and friendly, forming a parent-like association with every child. They encourage children to think, question and freely express themselves during lessons.

Outside the classroom:

  • Yoga, Meditation and Prayer form an integral part of the school curriculum so that students have a calm and unburdened mind.
  • A mandatory co-curricular programme ensures that children step out of their comfort zones and endeavour to learn new skills.
  • Celebrations of cultural festivals and historic occasions, both national and international, foster a spirit of togetherness amongst children.
  • school-wide events are organized to inculcate a spirit of loyalty and healthy competition in the children and to showcase their talents.
  • Children are encouraged to initiate and manage student-run Clubs to bring together those with similar interests across academics, sports, arts and other areas
